Please send me any information you might have regarding Lake Lackawanna history.

The land that Lake Lackawanna now resides on was originally an apple orchard.  There was a river that ran through the area that was dammed up to create the current lake.

Lake Lackawanna (117 acres) was made by railroad workers at the turn of the century and was one of New Jersey's earliest vacation resorts.
