The Save the Lake 2007 campaign was introduced in the Spring of 2007, in the hope of saving Lake Lackawanna.  Money raised in the campaign will be deposited in a segregated account to be used for lake improvement projects.  These projects include weed harvesting and/or sediment removal in the most desperate areas of the lake.

The LLIC Board of Directors hosted a community meeting on Monday, September 10th at 8:00 PM at the Clubhouse.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the low interest loan applied for from the State of New Jersey and our progress and plans regarding engineering and anticipated dredging.

Please take a moment to review the PowerPoint presentation that was presented at that meeting.  We hope it answers some of your questions about the loan, its repayment, engineering and the areas targeted for dredging.

Engineering services have been retained by Medina Associates.  As engineering progresses, and a more specific scope of services emerges, information will continue to be posted here.
