Welcome back to the 2018 swim lesson season. My name is Carissa Utter and I am the instructor of the Swim Lesson program at Lake Lackawanna. Within the lessons the students learn how to perfect and perform all the basic strokes and they learn the safety of the water. The classes are taught using games, examples, and visuals outside of the instruction. Below you will find the dates the program will run and the times for each lesson.

Level Times
Level 1- this is with parent: 12:40 – 1:00
Level 2- able to listen to simple directions: 2:00 – 2:20
Level 3- comfortable in the water and willing to start to learn strokes: 2:20 – 2:50
Level 4- working up to deep water and can swim unassisted in shallow water and has a freestyle stroke: 2:50 – 3:20
Level 5- working on all strokes in deep water and learning to swim distances: 3:20 – 3:50
* Swim lessons is to perfect swimmers strokes and talk about water safety.
